The Laboratory mission is to conduct research and education in the field of photonics and sensors, particularly in the field of optical and other sensors, optical fibers, passive photonics devices, opto-electronics and opto-electronic signal processing. The Laboratory is part of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Maribor.
